Skjaldhamrs skikkja
The Cloak of Shame
As with all Amateurs Majors, there is a stick to go with the carrot.
Skjaldhamrs skikkja will be won by a cascading ranking. Thus once defeated you will support the player that vanquished you in the hopes of gaining a higher final rank.
Forfeitures
Amateurs are given 4 months to complete the first round, along with the ability to have someone play in their stead. There is just no excuse for a forfeiture.
In the case a match is not completed by the round’s deadline both players will spin the Wheel of Consequence. If player’s have not completed due to non-attendance for the upcoming event then the burden is moved to the manager of that player’s team & he will be responsible for the forfeiture.
